Hahaha

camoshark responds:

Glad you enjoyed, I should probably get to writing that description now ! :P

Sup buddy

Showing a friend of mine just how powerful 3xOsc can be, of course you came to mind ;)

Sorry bro but..

Whatever you were going for here was far from drum & bass, maybe if noise-core was your direction, it'd be fitting. If you want to make a drum and bass track, try focusing more on the actual drums and the bass, and everything else should be subtle, and I use that word strongly.

LightKeeper responds:

It crosses over to the genre. I'm really limited on what I can call things here on newgrounds, and the fact that you rate something based on genre shows how immature your interpretation of music really is. Maybe if you tried focusing on the actual composition and less on just the drums and bass, "bro".

Takes like 5 minutes

but I finally found a real submission! Haha, seriously though, good stuff. I was always a fan of chillout style, pretty much like down-tempo breaks with an ambient feel.. gotta love it.

5kyLight responds:

Yeah, chillout is a very unique genre. I never really saw this as chillout but the more I think about it, it really fits into that category lol

Thanks for the kind words :D

Nifty

The main melody going on should have a parallel sound that follows it and does a back-and-forth sort of swap, two different sounds sharing a similar melody... would add some depth and substance to the track... but it's sick so keep it up!

andremdk responds:

Thanx alot for the words friend ! I will post another tracks from my games made at University, if you want maybe we can do some collaboration....cheerz and thanx again !

Yep

Always loved Ambient, was the easiest stuff to listen to.

Feels a little darker in the drones n tones for an april track... but the track alone is great. You did a great job smoothing things over, nothing peaks!

oddfellowfloyd responds:

Thanks for the words, mate! :)
Yes, I've been enjoying this type of music a lot lately, so the mood struck...
I know it's darker, but that's just what I wanted, as the weather has been rainy and not so sunny-ish out as of yet...

But, I'm glad you liked it!

Peace!

Aw sick!

Wasn't seeing that drop coming at 00:54, that was nice!

I really dig the work, sounds really crisp, perhaps I'd tune down the highs just a little bit but its not really necessary..

Keep it up!

no-ma-designs responds:

Thanks a lot! Checked out your stuff and was quite impressed; it's great to get a review from someone in the business.

Not bad

I like where it's going, but I wish you'd step away from the oh-so-bland hip-hop-esque breaks and consider something breakbeat or even simple 4 on the floor son.

Rawrthaas responds:

I already do enough breakbeat stuff, got tired of four to the floor long ago. Was treading new waters with this, really

Thanks for da review

Could use a bit more to the bass

Great start though, the bass is a little off in the funk, but it has a good start to it, I feel like it needs to be a bit fatter and less stumbling.

Not bad though, I can definitely see some old school electro going on here.

Murcielago1 responds:

I agree. I wanted the bass sound more unique by giving it a stumbling effect but it stumbles too much.

Thanks a lot for listening.

Ohh sick track.

This is a chill track, I wicked digg the stand-fast mood it has, the melody going on in the back is a little stale but the bass just keeps it moving all the same. Solid. Could use a bit more of a hook in the beginning. I could definitely see people skipping this bad boy if they didn't give it a whole listen.

MTLane responds:

WICKED DIGG!! AWESOME thanks bro!
